My name is Taylor Stringe, and I am a dedicated secondary educator of mathematics. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics (probability and statistics emphasis) from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, and a M.A. in Education (Teacher Leadership) from Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, CO. I have taught math at both middle and high school levels and am currently teaching high school in Thornton, CO. I believe in an inquiry-based approach to education, and I'm very interested in the positive and negative outcomes of the flipped classroom model of teaching. On this website you will find information for my math classes at Horizon High School, my research blog concerning studies conducted on the flipped classroom model, and a Digital Showcase of Innovation and Learning (DSIL) in which I provide evidence of my proficiency with the Colorado Teacher Quality Standards. I appreciate your visit to my website, and can be reached by email at [email protected].
